We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Bozzuto. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the overall upkeep of our properties.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service to our residents.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of various systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by performing turn-over repairs and improvements.
  • Maintain the appearance and safety of our properties through general upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience in building maintenance or a related field, or an education in the trades.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
  • Physical ability to exert 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
  • Personal transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using various software and computer programs.
  • A service-oriented mentality and a thirst for learning.
