Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all NCC owned facilities, including commercial office and classroom space. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, such as repairs and replacements of plumbing fixtures, electrical work, and snow removal. The successful candidate will also serve as an advisor to the Facilities Manager on preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of plumbing fixtures, electrical work, and snow removal.
  • Advise the Facilities Manager on preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and own hand tools.
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties.
  • Ability to obtain and sustain various clearances required to work with NCC.
