Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to individuals served, working collaboratively with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assist with various tasks such as checking vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing treatment under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals served, visitors, families, peers, supervisors, and medical personnel.
- Knowledgeable of individualized care plans and provide support according to the individual's care plan.
- Assist with training new CNAs and crisis intervention, including de-escalation and restraint as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of an approved CNA program, and valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in GA.
- Minimum of one year experience as a certified nursing assistant is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong technical skills and comfortable utilizing in-house computer applications for documenting and reporting purposes.
- Available Shifts: 6:30am-3pm or 2:30pm - 11pm
