Position Overview

The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing contracted foodservice vendors within the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact between the vendors and the hospitality team.
  • Facilitate preseason preparations and postseason clean-up activities for vendors.
  • Collaborate with the staffing coordinator to address and adjust staffing requirements for vendors.
  • Ensure the maintenance and proper usage of hospitality equipment and facilities in vendor areas.
  • Manage point of sale systems, providing necessary training and support to vendors.
  • Compile and distribute nightly operational reports to vendors promptly.
  • Process commission payouts for vendors and coordinate with accounting.
  • Assist in product distribution during events in the venue.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with foodservice vendors.
  • Organize and schedule food trucks for special events.
  • Act as a communication bridge between management and staff, addressing any operational issues.
  • Address guest concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow and implement both written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Prior experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to maintain mobility for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed. Flexibility to work in varying temperature conditions is essential. The position may require irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. This role is designed for individuals seeking entry-level experience in the food and beverage sector.
