Job Summary

As a Culinary Supervisor with Compass Group Careers, you will be responsible for leading a team of food-service associates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop food-service associates to meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient kitchen operations and meet production demands.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards, adhering to HACCP guidelines and company policies.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement menu plans, recipes, and production standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a food-service or culinary environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory and supplies.
