Job Summary:

The Application Coordination role serves as the lead implementation specialist and support contact for assigned applications. This position acts as the liaison between users and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The successful candidate will assist user departments in analyzing and designing system requirements, performing system building setup and testing, and managing change requests. Additionally, they will coordinate upgrades, provide end-user support, and recommend methods for using the system/data to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and design system requirements in collaboration with user departments
  • Perform system building setup and testing
  • Manage change requests and coordinate upgrades
  • Provide end-user support and assistance
  • Recommend methods for using the system/data to improve performance
  • Develop, modify, test, and maintain screens, menus, pathways, documents, reports, and program logic modules
  • Provide off-hours support for critical problem resolution
  • Assist the training team as necessary
  • Evaluate new features, products, and technologies
  • Report project status information to management and/or project requesters on a timely basis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic, and computer skills
  • Knowledge and/or use of Health Information Systems in a hospital setting, especially the Epic suite of products (preferred)
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting (preferred)
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8 am-5:00 pm, with flexibility to work as needed
