Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join our team in a cardiac surgery setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in cardiac surgery and be certified as a Surgical Technologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a Surgical Technician in the Operating Room, preparing sterile instrument tables and assembling supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
  • Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures, and monitor patients throughout the procedure.
  • Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and ensure seamless coverage during peak periods.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience functioning as a Surgical Technician in cardiac surgery.
  • 1 year of experience with independent call responsibilities.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to respond to on-call responsibilities within a 30-minute radius of Delray Beach.
