Position: Family Development Case Manager

As a Family Development Case Manager at Call to Freedom, you will play a crucial role in supporting those at risk of human trafficking and exploitation.
The primary responsibility of the Family Development Case Manager is to assess needs, implement tailored strategies, and coordinate personalized services for victims and survivors. This position involves advocating for and educating families to promote healthy and constructive family dynamics.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child/Human Development, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in case management with victims of violence, trafficking, trauma, or substance abuse is essential.
- Training in trauma-informed care is advantageous.
- Must achieve SOAR certification and serve as the primary contact for the agency and clients.
- Certification in the Love and Logic curriculum is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. The candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, and responsive.
- Availability for approximately 40 hours per week, with the ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as required.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and provide proof of motor vehicle insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advocate for assigned clients and their families, ensuring timely and responsive service.
- Collaborate with clients to establish and implement individualized family development and financial objectives.
- Monitor client interactions with their families and treatment providers to evaluate progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as necessary.
- Provide case management and supportive services to help clients overcome family-related barriers.
- Assist clients in addressing financial challenges through supportive services and case management.
- Develop community-based financial programs for clients to engage in and receive ongoing support.
- Coordinate with professionals such as social workers, psychiatrists, and medical providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Facilitate access to government services and local resources for families.
- Build relationships with childcare providers to ensure safe and reliable childcare for clients.
- Implement the Love & Logic curriculum with clients to enhance parenting skills.
- Teach budgeting skills through a structured curriculum to assist clients in managing their finances.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to assess the effectiveness of services provided.
- Conduct home visits to observe family dynamics and address issues privately with parents.
- Coordinate with court systems to ensure clients fulfill legal obligations and assist with necessary paperwork.
- Work with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized client goals and facilitate family-centered education groups.
- Provide community education on relevant topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
