About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Operations Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our catering staff, you will be responsible for coordinating catering schedules, preparing and serving food, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Catering Schedules: Determine workload requirements from catering orders and meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements.
  • Prepare and Serve Food: Prepare and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director.
  • Deliver Food and Beverages: Drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
  • Interact with Customers: Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain Sanitation and Orderliness: Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
