Job Overview

The Facilities Manager is accountable for overseeing all aspects of facility operations and ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) standards. This role adheres to regulatory requirements including FDA QSR (21 CFR 820) and ISO 13485, while aligning with the Quality Management System (QMS).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the upkeep and management of the facility's interior and exterior.
  • Administer pest control measures and maintain all relevant documentation.
  • Conduct repairs on production and research & development equipment.
  • Ensure proper preventive maintenance and calibration of all machinery.
  • Monitor and log clean room conditions, including temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials.
  • Manage inventory of clean room supplies to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that team members adhere to all company protocols regarding Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, providing necessary resources.
  • Support IT with infrastructure needs related to wiring and connectivity.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in facilities management.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate a PC and utilize associated software effectively.

Physical Requirements:
  • Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers, including typing and handling tasks.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as data analysis, transcribing, and extensive reading.

Work Environment:
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment.

Travel:

No travel is required for this position.
