Terra Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses that fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching classes, assessing student performance, and communicating progress to students in a timely manner. Additionally, the faculty member will be expected to remain current with subject matter and instructional methodology, and to support the mission of the program, division, and college. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Humanities and a minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably at the college level. The faculty member will be required to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekend schedules. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate one-on-one, in small groups, and in classroom situations, and will be proficient in word-processing and presentation software, internet, and e-mail. The faculty member will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of students and to teach in more than one discipline.
