Job Title: Technical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Prescott's, Inc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, managing customer service requests, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation to support business operations.
  • Manage customer service requests, communicate with customers, and provide estimates to meet customer needs.
  • Process customer and internal orders efficiently and effectively to ensure timely delivery.
  • Dispatch sales orders and parts requests to internal technicians in a timely manner to optimize inventory levels.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service requests, updates, and costs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare quotes and information for pricing and parts inquiries as required to support business growth.
  • Monitor field representative inventories and manage parts turnover rate to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Maintain records of parts used and inventory levels for the service department to ensure accuracy and inform business decisions.
  • Assist with RMA creation and UPS label creation for parts return to streamline the process and reduce costs.
  • Manage back orders and follow up with efficient fulfillment of all orders to meet customer expectations and drive business success.
  • Input data into NetSuite to maintain accurate records and support business operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with a High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience as a service writer, customer service associate, or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or equivalent is a plus.
  • Computer and data entry experience is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and invoicing is necessary to perform daily tasks.
  • A basic understanding of medical equipment and terminology is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively are essential.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area are expected.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
