Laboratory Professional in Oregon

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team at a hospital in Eastern Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Perform and interpret various laboratory tests, including clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and proper functioning.
• Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure accurate test results and maintain quality control.
• Collect and process patient specimens according to laboratory standards.
• Analyze test results and prepare reports for review by physicians or other healthcare professionals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities and results.
• Provide support and guidance to other laboratory staff as needed.

• Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or (MLT) by relevant certifying body is required.
• 1 year of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
