Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Government Grants and Relations to join our team at Women In Need, Inc. This individual will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing grantmaking resources from government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workflow to measure progress toward deliverables and meet reporting requirements
  • Identify and secure grant funding from government agencies, including federal, state, and local government sources
  • Expand our government funding support by seeking out and submitting applications to RFPs on a regular basis
  • Manage all aspects of government grants fundraising and administration, including serving as primary Director on all government grant portals

Requirements

  • BA degree plus five (5) years of government relations and grant writing required
  • Experience within a social services organization a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with government grantmaking sources and government agency key players a plus
