- Thorough knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations, including local, state, and federal laws.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills to manage projects and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lead and facilitate system-wide workgroup efforts.
- 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety.
- Prior laboratory experience in an academic setting.
- Professional certification in safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP).
