Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Petra, Inc. in Meridian, Idaho. This is a full-time onsite position that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to change.

The ideal candidate will support the strategic direction of our Talent Acquisition Program in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Leadership and hiring managers to develop a strategic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Program.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to effectively minimize the time required to fill open positions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience with a seamless approach to onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Collect and analyze data to maintain understanding of market salaries and benefits, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Partner with managers to forecast/identify workforce needs based on business growth plans and succession planning.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.
  • Create job postings and coordinate hiring criteria with hiring managers.
  • Fill vacant positions across all departments and office locations in ID, CO, and WA.
  • Lead and manage interview process: screening, interview candidates, recommend qualified candidates, coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, and provide timely feedback to both parties.
  • Build influential relationships through outreach efforts and actively participate as the company representative at recruiting events, career and college fairs, business meetings, professional associations, etc.
  • Establish multiple channels for sourcing qualified candidates through proactive and targeted engagement.
  • Cultivate a learning culture to continuously develop team members to optimize performance, engagement, effectiveness, and retention.
  • Work with managers in assessing and identifying manager training needs that include topics such as: selection and hiring practices, career path and employee development plans, specific training methods, etc.
  • Assist with development of career tracks for employees who demonstrate the aptitude and desire for upward mobility.
  • Oversee recruiting platform in HRIS system for streamlining all facets of applicant tracking, recruiting activities, and maintaining recruiting data.
  • Establish and track metrics to monitor effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition Program, recommend modifications to the program as needed (e.g., time-to-fill, cost per hire, source of hire, retention/quality of hire, turnover rate).
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports on open requisitions, hiring statistics, and associated departmental costs.
