A dynamic construction company in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team.

This is an on-site opportunity with a competitive annual salary of $50k-$60k plus bonus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overtime if necessary in-season (March-December)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating all CT projects from inception to completion
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors
  • Work closely with the Lead Estimator on "take-offs" and estimating for Large DOT projects
  • Track progress of ongoing work
  • Set up of new purchase orders
  • Assist in setting up crew schedules
  • Create work orders
  • Update reflectivity spreadsheet
  • Assist in scheduling for PMs
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any issues and proposing solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process
