Charge Nurse Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Coalinga Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the nursing department, including supervising nurses and staff, managing patient care, and addressing any issues that may arise. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct supervision to nurses and staff, including training and evaluating their performance
• Develop and implement patient care plans, in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Ensure smooth hospital operations by addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care setting, preferably as a Charge Nurse
• Current RN licensure and registration in California (BRN)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required; TNCC and CEN certifications preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range:
$55-$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
