Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Coalinga Regional Medical Center.

About the Job

This is a full-time/part-time/per diem position, with varying shifts available. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with meal preparation and service, including menu planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with the Dietary Service Manager and Cook to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Food Handlers Certification within 2 months of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
