Nightingale's List is looking for a dedicated Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. The estimated salary for this role is $48,000 - $58,000 per year.

The Healthcare Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing rounds of patient care, obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing, and documenting patient care. The specialist will also assist other staff members in providing patient care and prepare documentation for patient transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Perform rounds of patient care and report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing and document results
  • Assist other staff members in providing patient care
  • Prepare documentation for patient transfers

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE STATE CERTIFICATION BY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (MMCI)
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification
  • One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant
