Job Title: Jr. Instrument & Controls Designer

Technical Staffing Resources is seeking a Jr. Instrument & Controls Designer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long-term contract position in the Towanda/Wysox, PA area.

This role is ideal for a field technician looking to transition to a design position or a recent graduate of a CAD training program. The selected candidate will work with and be mentored by Senior Designers at the site, who will teach the CAD software and serve as a resource for any technical questions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop instrumentation and controls systems for industrial and chemical processing equipment.
  • Collaborate with Senior Designers to ensure high-quality designs and meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in instrumentation and controls design.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of instrumentation associated with industrial and chemical processing equipment or an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrument/Controls Technology, certified CAD Training program.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
