Job Title: Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our team at Brigit, a holistic financial health company dedicated to helping Americans build a brighter financial future. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.

Job Summary

The Lead Data Scientist will be responsible for leading the development of advanced data models and algorithms to identify credit risk, optimize marketing spend, and predict customer churn. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced data models and algorithms to identify credit risk, optimize marketing spend, and predict customer churn.
  • Lead the development of data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data pipelines to support data analysis and modeling.
  • Work with data engineers to design and implement data infrastructure to support data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning models to predict customer behavior and optimize business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Brigit remains at the forefront of data science and machine learning.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
