Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) Job Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients, including simple and complex treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience.
  • NBRC-RRT certification.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • NRP certification may be required in some areas.

As a Peds-RRT, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds. You must have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
