Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Therapist to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a Respiratory Care Therapist, you will provide respiratory care to patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess and manage patients' respiratory status, including oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and lung function.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA-approved school.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers or current PALS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of current critical care experience in adult, pediatric, or neonatal care.
  • PALS, NRP, and/or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential from the NBRC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or other health-related field.
Compensation and Benefits

Seattle Children's offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60.57 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
