Job Description
This Clinical Operations Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care services. You will work closely with our physicians and staff to ensure the smooth operation of our clinics, maintaining accurate records, managing supplies, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, maintaining accurate records, and restocking exam rooms.
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, equipment, and instruments to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Take and record patients' vital signs before and after procedures, accurately documenting all results.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical certification preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with GE Centricity or similar EMR systems an asset.
