About the Job:We're seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our Sales team. As an early Account Manager at Zone & Co, you'll play a key role in shaping our growth strategy and setting the bar for operational excellence. You'll develop and execute strategies to expand accounts effectively, helping us build and define our Account Management team.
Your primary focus will be on driving revenue by retaining valued customers and expanding relationships through cross-selling our extensive suite of products. You'll be the champion of excellent customer service, upholding our company's core values, culture, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Cultivate multi-threaded relationships within your Mid Market Book of Business to ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Maintain and develop a healthy pipeline of forecasted opportunities to ensure you meet or exceed quarterly revenue objectives.
- Drive spend by owning retention, expansions, and overall growth.
- Proactively pursue business development opportunities with existing clients to meet renewal and expansion goals.
- Review client portfolios and needs to effectively communicate applicable upgrades to existing products as well as upcoming product releases.
- Responsible for all commercial needs and commercial escalations of your accounts.
- Maintain and develop an active pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet quarterly objectives.
- Execute QBRs with key stakeholders within your accounts.
- Monitor account health and address any issues to ensure client retention.
- Partner with Client Support, Customer Success, and other internal teams to identify and mitigate risk.
- Provide feedback to management and product teams regarding client needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and overall client satisfaction.
- Develop initiatives to increase client engagement, encourage product adoption, and promote advocacy for our brand within their networks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to better serve your clients and maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of proven account management (and/or sales) experience.
- Outbound/new business experience preferred.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Well-versed in traditional methods of proactive account selling.
- Creative problem solver and strategic thinker.
- Teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Strong business acumen and conflict resolution.
- High technical aptitude and clear communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is preferred.
