About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Behavioral Health to join our team at UMFS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing therapeutic programs and services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and revise therapeutic programs and services to ensure they are evidence-based and effective
  • Direct clinical service delivery to clients through therapist and case management staff
  • Oversee admission standards and acceptance of clients to be served
  • Manage and supervise therapist staff and case managers
  • Assume responsibility for the supervision process for direct-report employees

Requirements:

  • Master's degree, Ph.D. or equivalent in a Board of Health Professions field of clinical practice and must be licensed
  • Must have or be eligible to take required coursework and supervision for C-SOTP designation through the Virginia Board of Psychology
  • At least one year supervisory/managing teams experience
