Collaboration with the Laboratory Director is essential to uphold policies, procedures, and the efficient operation of the department and associated laboratories.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily laboratory operations during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain high standards of laboratory practices.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork among laboratory staff and other medical professionals.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Licensure/Certification: State of Florida Supervisor (SU) license required.
  • Training: ASCP MT or equivalent; experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is preferred.

Experience:
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting is required.
