**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Cashier. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to our customers, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ring up sales on the cash register and handle money, checks, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform multi-function operation of the fuel console, including handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform cleaning duties as necessary to maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits, ensuring that all products are accurately stocked and accounted for.
  • Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Perform all duties with minimum supervision and work irregular hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
  • Stand and/or walk up to eight hours per day, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per day, and perform other physical demands of the job.

**Requirements**

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient with a cash register, fuel console, and other retail equipment.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and work under the conditions described.
