Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

ERP International is seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the credentialing and privileging process for healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining provider credentialing files, e-filing packets, and credentialing databases. You will also review credentialing and privileging requirements, gather documentation, and produce queries and reports as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing files and e-file packets
  • Manage credentialing databases and input documents
  • Review credentialing and privileging requirements for new contracts
  • Gather documentation and work with Program Managers to ensure timely submission
  • Produce credentialing queries and reports as needed
  • Ensure monthly updates of physician licenses and insurance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in credentialing for a federal contractor organization
  • Credentialing Certification is highly desired
