Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Education. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students in educational environments.

About the Position:

  • We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with us on a contract basis, providing speech therapy services to students in a dynamic and multicultural community.

Your Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and student needs.
  • Deliver speech therapy services to students individually or in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance student development and progress.
  • Accurately document therapy sessions and student advancements, providing regular progress updates.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional growth activities to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of New York.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of speech therapy principles and techniques.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
