Biomedical Equipment Technician

Job Summary:
GE Healthcare is seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician I to join our team. As a Biomedical Technician I, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and performing repair and maintenance on customers' biomedical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose issues with biomedical equipment
- Perform repair and maintenance on biomedical equipment
- Implement GE policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers and teammates
- Document all repair actions and submit reports
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- OR equivalent military education
- OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program
- OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment
Special Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted
- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time
