Wound Care Registered Nurse RN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a Wound Care RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting wound healing.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for wound care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex wounds.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive wound care services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex wounds.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • BSN required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Current WOCN certification strongly preferred; If not, must obtain WOCN certification within first year of employment.
