As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering diagnostic imaging services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting all MRI procedures while ensuring quality control in the MRI department.
- Demonstrating expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, including patient positioning, procedure preparation, and technical aspects of MRI systems.
- Managing the Radiology Information System (RIS) for scheduling exams, tracking patients, and completing exams accurately.
- Overseeing the operation of all MRI-related equipment, including monitoring devices and biopsy tools.
- Providing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
- Previous experience in an outpatient MRI setting is preferred.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or equivalent licensure.
- Preferred: Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
