Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric and mental health care to patients in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions

  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in clinical nursing or nursing science from an accredited program
  • Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
  • Two years of nurse practitioner experience or equivalent nursing experience
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification (PMHNP-BC)
