Job Overview

Prestige Healthcare Resources Inc is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric nursing, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patient physical and mental health status.
  • Administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with the treatment team to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Monitor vital signs, mental health symptoms, and overall patient well-being throughout the day program.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, including psychiatric crises.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients to support their mental health and overall well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide health education to patients and their families, including medication management, symptom recognition, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to conduct educational groups on relevant health topics.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing or a related mental health field.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
