Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part Time Key Holder to join our Retail Operations team at BevMo by Gopuff. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting new employees during periods of high volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with customers, while informing them of our products and services.
  • Arrive early to open the store and stay late to close, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Assist the store during peak periods and provide support to new employees, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our in-house products and provide customers with personalized recommendations.
  • Conduct inventory management tasks, including restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
  • Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Follow proper age verification policies and ensure all prices and quantities are accurate.
  • Process refunds and exchanges, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
  • Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
  • Team-oriented mentality and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Compensation

Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing, with compensation varying depending on location. The salary range for this role in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is USD $, with a starting pay determined by job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
