About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Part Time Sr. Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience:
    • Provide personalized support to customers, addressing their needs and preferences to enhance their shopping experience.
    • Utilize our sales program to promote the sale of the best solution and additional products and services.
    • Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations Commitment:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to company guidelines.
    • Adhere to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
    • Follow established sorting and stocking guidelines and complete freight processes.
    • Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and set up according to guidelines.
    • Scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily.
  • Print and Tech Expertise:
    • Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including advanced level of Print and Technology training.
    • Continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required.
  • Compliance Adherence and Support:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support the company's loss prevention efforts.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required, retail sales experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and G-Mail.
  • Ability to use computers and technology for information and to access information necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools, and process inventory.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers and other employees.
  • Enjoy interacting with people.
