Job Overview

G&W Equipment, Inc. is a leading provider of materials handling and aerial equipment solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Manager to join our team in the Raleigh, NC area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a hunter mentality to drive revenue growth in their assigned territory. Key responsibilities will include prospecting new business, selling new and used industrial equipment, and developing relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Job Duties:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the defined sales territory.
  • Sell a range of industrial equipment products to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to manage territory and account planning.
  • Develop customized business plans for each customer account to ensure customer and profit fulfillment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years outside sales experience in a similar or related industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of basic financial merchandising.
  • Ability to remain persistent and overcome customer objections.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • General understanding of sales CRM systems.
