Job Title: Therapeutic Behavioral Aide

Job Summary:

The Therapeutic Behavioral Aide is a vital member of our team at Health Connect America, providing direct care services, behavioral guidance, and support to individuals in our programs. This role focuses on enhancing the functional, daily, and community living skills of individuals facing developmental disabilities, substance abuse issues, and emotional or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavioral interventions, including positive role modeling, time-structuring activities, and de-escalation techniques.
  • Assist individuals in developing daily living skills, social competencies, and self-directed behavior.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop behavioral treatment plans.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with individuals to ensure effective guidance and support.
  • Ensure client safety and respond to their needs.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, parents, and guardians.
  • Attend and participate in ongoing supervision, treatment team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and complete progress notes and records.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High school diploma with experience working with children.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation with adherence to all NC Division of Motor Vehicle laws.
