Key Responsibilities- Provide scientific knowledge and business acumen to specialist customers to support the sale of our biologic product.
- Understand the reimbursement and distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources to refer customers to for reimbursement and distribution choices.
- Maintain knowledge and data on severe asthma therapeutic expertise.
- Provide product educational programs and in-services to customers.
- Work within compliance guidelines and company values at all times.
- Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
- Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with marketing, payer relations managers, medical, and other functions within the company.
- Effectively manage allocated resources.
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer requests, inquiries, and needs.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel up to 30%.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able and willing to drive or operate a vehicle.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales or medical device sales experience for the Specialty Account Specialist role, or 15+ years of experience for the Senior Specialty Account Specialist role.
- Specialty products that utilize the Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy modes of distribution.
- Expertise in working with payer reimbursement managers.
- Biologic/Rare Disease/Respiratory Sales experience.
- Cross-functional matrix collaboration.
- Demonstrated consistent performance over time.
