Position Overview

The Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM

Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all CT imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • Engage with patients to gather comprehensive medical histories relevant to their CT examinations, including any unique conditions or limitations.
  • Administer and prepare contrast media, both orally and intravenously, as required.
  • Monitor patients for any significant changes in vital signs and responsiveness, providing emergency care and first aid as necessary.
  • Ensure patient safety by confirming identification through verbal and visual checks as outlined in the Radiology Safety Manual.
  • Implement radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self, utilizing appropriate protective equipment.
  • Assist patients in transferring to and from imaging equipment safely and comfortably.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures following established protocols.
  • Verify the accuracy of radiology orders by reviewing physician documentation in patient records.
  • Support radiologists during interventional CT procedures, including biopsies.
  • Utilize the hospital's information system to access and review laboratory results pertinent to imaging examinations.
Qualifications
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
  • CT certification is required.
