Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

* Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy, trauma, and operating room equipment, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
* Position patients correctly to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
* Administer contrast media and other medications as needed to enhance image quality.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
* ARRT(R) certification required.
* One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
* Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
* Basic Life Support Certification.
