Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MBI Health Services, LLC. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and developing and processing radiologic film.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning body parts to be radiographed and explaining procedures to ensure patient care, safety, and comfort.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient care and safety.
  • Develop and process radiologic film, using radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting equipment malfunctions to the Clinic Director.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat, orderly, clean, and safe condition.
  • Perform related administrative duties, including completing necessary forms, labeling films and film envelopes, and maintaining procedure logs.
  • Retrieve radiologic orders from and input related data into the electronic medical record.
  • Identify errors and take immediate action for corrections.
  • Maintain adequate radiologic supplies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Certification and Licensure: Current District of Columbia Radiologic Technologist licensure required; ARRT certification required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and spreadsheets as needed to facilitate clinical care and EMR troubleshooting.
  • Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties when required.
