Field Services Technician

As a Field Services Technician at The Fi Company, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service and technical support during field operations. This role encompasses managing on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing activities, along with diagnosing technical errors to implement effective solutions.

This position necessitates travel approximately 75% of the time to various locations for customer installations and services. Compliance with company policies regarding drug and alcohol screening, including pre-employment assessments, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute installation, servicing, and upkeep of digital and visual merchandising systems
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and component failures
  • Educate staff and subcontractors on effective installation practices for digital displays
  • Accurately report hours worked, materials utilized, and complete work orders
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
  • Operate a box truck locally for job assignments
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, on-site personnel, and management
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Capable of working independently and exercising sound judgment
  • Physically fit to lift up to 75 lbs and navigate stairs
  • Possess a valid driver's license and readiness to operate box trucks
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in Gaming/EGM OEM/Casino environments
  • Willingness to travel, including potential international assignments
