Job Title: Social Worker

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to provide social, economic, and psychological support to patients and their families. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and provide education and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct service to patients and families, including counseling, education, and advocacy
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies to provide referrals and support
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program
  • Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Licensed by the Board of Registration in Social Work at the Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) level or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, pursuant to G.L. Chapter 13, Section 80
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and will work 28 hours in Everett, Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop.
