Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our CMP department at Jireh Semiconductor, a leading manufacturer of semiconductor devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain equipment specifications and procedures.
  • Develop and execute corrective maintenance plans for equipment.
  • Collaborate with equipment, production, and process groups to prioritize work and ensure quality.
  • Develop and implement training programs for technician certification on area equipment.
  • Develop and implement equipment improvement plans.
  • Participate in the selection and interview process for technician hiring, transfers, and cross-training.
  • Oversee equipment relocation and installations.
  • Track and report daily activities through verbal and written communication.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a fab environment on relevant semiconductor equipment.
  • BS in Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong technical capability and ability to troubleshoot system problems to board level.
  • Ability to analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems.
  • Experience with AMAT Mirra Polishers and LAM Ontrak Scrubbers.
  • Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, and standard engineering practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
