As a Charge Nurse - PRN at Hamilton Medical Center, you will play a vital role in directing nursing care for patients and supervising the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. Key Responsibilities- Direct nursing care for patients and supervise nursing assistants
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing centers
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Supervise and train nursing assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or completion of an approved LPN program
- Current LPN license in the State of Georgia
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS/CPR certification
- Preferred experience in nursing administration
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift up to 40 pounds. The associate must be able to tolerate prolonged standing and walking and to work effectively in a team environment.
