Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

At Engineered Floors, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and protecting employees from work-related and environmental hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to facilities across the United States
  • Conduct health assessments and provide treatment for work and non-work-related injuries or illnesses
  • Develop and implement case management strategies for work-related injuries/illnesses
  • Use an approved employee health record-keeping system and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in pre-placement or post-employment health assessments
  • Coordinate medical claims adjusters, medical personnel, workers' compensation, and FMLA
  • Implement a wellness program that includes approved strategies for management-defined disease management programs

Requirements:

  • Current RN/LPN license in Georgia and ability to obtain a license in multiple states
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for travel
  • Ability to work with confidential matters and navigate office systems successfully
  • Experience with Cerner EMR systems, Outlook Email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform and instruct CPR in the event of an emergency
  • Must be able to respond quickly and effectively to medical events occurring within the work environment
  • Must be able to consistently walk the manufacturing floor to interact with employees and management
