We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Encompass Community Services. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our center-based sites, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing supervision and support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor Teacher Directors, Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and Family Services Advocates
- Monitor classrooms for compliance and prepare related paperwork and reports
- Develop and implement onboarding plans for new hires and internal job assignments
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and agency policies
- Ensure staff are trained on developmentally appropriate practices and agency policies and procedures
- Oversee case management work with families
- Act as a liaison between community, school districts, and other agencies
- Maintain budget within accepted limits and track purchasing and spending
- Oversee orientation of center volunteers and interns
- Ensure facilities adhere to regulations at all times
- Support parent engagement activities within the cluster
- Monitor overall center operations to ensure high-quality services
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, or related field
- 3+ years of experience directly supervising
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and review data to make informed decisions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of the community and county resources
- Experience implementing strength-based approaches in work with families
- Knowledge of California Licensing Regulations (a plus)
